Colleen graduated from beauty school in 1991. She has a passion for hair and an understanding of how to give the client exactly what they are looking for. She has furthered her education with classes such as: Bumble and Bumble, Redken, Goldwell, and Grund. Her passion has also brought her to become an educator for Grund Hair Care. Her Grund training has included attending the "Inspire Grund International Hair Fashion Symposium" in Las Vegas where she experienced the latest hair fashion trends including men's and women's cutting, straightening, coloring, permanent reconstructing, waving, styling, and treating thinning hair. At this symposium Colleen was able to learn from world renowned international award winning Canadian hair stylist Wayne Grund as well as the Grund international education team, and one of the world's most respected cosmetic scientists, Dr. Lee Hunter. Colleen specializes in what she likes to call "Hair Carving". This is personalized for each client that sits in her chair. Her techniques range from texture services that create the foundation for all of today's current looks, to leaving your hair full with body and beautiful curl, or removing frizz and/or curl without damaging your hair. Her color services range from naturally beautiful to bold and flashy. Colleen loves all aspects of the beauty industry and is looking forward to meeting you and exceeding your expectations.
